IGS $10,000 Grant Challenge - War of 1812 Pensions

The Federation of Genealogical Societies is launching a national campaign to raise the money needed to digitize the War of 1812 pension files at the National Archives and put them online for FREE access.
From now until June 30, 2011, the Indiana Genealogical Society will MATCH any donation (up to the first $10,000). That means that if you give $10, IGS will give $10; if you give $100, IGS will give $100.
Any donation will help:
- A $500 donation will digitize 1,000 images
- A $25 donation will digitize 50 images
- Even a $5 donation will digitize 10 pages!

Members Only Databases
One of the benefits of membership in the Indiana Genealogical Society is access to our Members Only section. It contains premium databases, which are accessible only to IGS members. We also offer several free databases, which do not require membership.
The Members Only section currently has 385 databases. We add more databases all the time.
