Electronic Database Award

Note: No award will be presented for 2022.

The Indiana Genealogical Society may present an award for outstanding contributions of databases to the IGS website. Databases may be chosen for the award on the basis of size, significance to Indiana research, or other factors at the discretion of the IGS Publications Committee. See a list of previous winners (PDF format).

Deadline:
Databases must be submitted to the IGS website manager by December 31 of each year. The winner is recognized at the IGS annual conference in April.

Eligibility:
Membership in IGS is not required. Multiple submissions are welcome.

Judging:
The IGS Publications committee will judge all eligible entries and make a decision about the winner. IGS reserves the right not to bestow the award in a particular year.
