Membership

To join the Indiana Genealogical Society online, just fill out your information below (we use Paypal). You can also fill out and mail in the membership form (PDF format). If you purchase a membership online, IGS will send you an e-mail when your membership login for the Members-Only section has been enabled. IGS makes every effort to create your membership login within 48-72 hours of your online purchase.

Members of the Indiana Genealogical Society receive:

• access to the Members-Only section, which includes searchable databases as well as the current issues of IGS Newsletter
• postal delivery of Indiana Genealogist
• a discount on registration to the IGS annual conference
• a discount on selected publications in the IGS Shop

Membership is based on the calendar year. Any memberships purchased now will expire December 31, 2010.

NOTE: A joint membership is for 2 people who are residing at the same address. You will only receive 1 set of publications, but both members will be eligible for the member rate at conferences, etc.

If you have experienced difficulty receiving one of your IGS publications, are having trouble logging in to the Members-Only section, want to report a change in address, or have a question about your membership status, please contact the membership chair: membership@indgensoc.org

Occasionally the Indiana Genealogical Society makes its membership list available to carefully selected groups for a specific mailing. If you do NOT want IGS to make your contact information available to these outside groups, please select "NO" for the option "Okay to share member's contact info with outside groups?".
