Pleasant Valley Cemetery (also known as United Brethren Cemetery) is 1/4 mile north and 1/2 mile west of the present Pleasant Grove United Brethren Church in Root Township. A log church was built here in 1855 but it no longer exists. The community was nicknamed Frog Eye.
