Lake Chapel Cemetery is behind the Methodist Church on the west side of Butt Road, 1.5 miles north of Leesburg Road in Lake Township. It is not in use today. This cemetery was vandalized some years ago, and there is now a large flat marker with individual plaques of name and dates to replace the identifiable stones that were destroyed. The earliest date on this large marker is 1816.
