Source: The late Jane Eaglesfield Darlington of Indianapolis transcribed this list of property owners from an original property tax book that was compiled by the Perry County Assessor in 1835. The original assessor's book is stored in the Indiana State Archives; Darlington's transcription is stored at the Indiana State Library.
