Old Bluffton Cemetery is on North Oak Street Ext., north of Wabash Avenue, in Bluffton, Lancaster Township.
NOTE: The original introduction to this cemetery stated the last burial was in 1918 but records show there were later burials. This cemetery was plotted in 1841 by Sylvanus Church. In 1901, The Evening News listed several people who had been removed to the Fairview Cemetery. The cemetery was cleaned up several years ago but was allowed to become overgrown again. This cemetery has been walked, but very few stones remain – many are broken/illegible.
This database is a transcription of the records that exist. This data was compiled by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Minniear, members of the Wells County Historical Society.
