This directory was published following the 29th annual convention of all the Phi Beta Psi chapters, which was held in Marion, Indiana in June 1933. Phi Beta Psi was a service-oriented sorority that was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1904. In 1933, it included 17 chapters in Indiana: Arcadia, Anderson, Aurora, Batesville, Columbus, Corydon, Fairmount, Indianapolis, Kokomo, Lafayette, Lawrenceburg, Orleans, Paoli, Scottsburg, South Bend, Terre Haute and Tipton.
