2 for 92

The Indiana Genealogical Society will add a minimum of 2 genealogical databases for each of the 92 counties in Indiana to the Members Only section, to help all those with interest in researching their Indiana connections.

Anyone who is interested in seeing more research data about Indiana and its counties become available--regardless of whether they are an IGS member or not--is encouraged to submit files to the IGS webmaster. Files should be in Microsoft Excel, Access or other database-friendly formats. All submissions will be credited, and you are welcome to share your databases with other repositories.

Some examples of possible databases are:

• Voter lists
• Cemetery readings
• School graduation lists
• Military rosters
• Probate records indexes
• Directories indexes
• Tax lists
• Older printed lists that have not been previously digitized
