"Once A Hoosier..."

"Once A Hoosier..." is a companion project to "...Always A Hoosier". It is an ongoing project of the Indiana Genealogical Society to record information on the migrations of ancestors who:

1. were born before 1930;
2. were in Indiana for some portion of their life;
3. died outside Indiana.

If your ancestor meets all these criteria, we'd like to hear more about them! The Indiana Genealogical Society is currently compiling Volume III. Volumes I and II are available for purchase on the Shop page.

To contribute, simply fill out the "Once A Hoosier..." submission form (PDF format). You may include a photo of your ancestor (electronic or a good photocopy).

All materials that are submitted become the property of the Indiana Genealogical Society and will not be returned.
