This copy of the commencement program includes a handwritten note, "Compliments of E. E. Cavins". Edward E. Cavins (1854-1921) was the son of Aden G. Cavins, who served in the Civil War in the 59th Indiana Infantry and later the 97th Indiana Infantry.
